How we handle the personal data you provide when you contact us or visit rhysora.com.
Last updated: 23 April 2026.
Who we are
Rhysora is a product operated by Wilrhys Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15731165), with registered office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Wilrhys Limited is the data controller for any personal data collected via rhysora.com.
Contact for data matters: info@rhysora.com.
What personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you provide directly when contacting us:
- Your name and email address (when you email info@rhysora.com)
- Any other information you include in your enquiry — for example, your job title, organisation, or project context
We do not run analytics software on this website. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing scripts.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue a professional conversation about Rhysora products, research collaborations, or other business matters you have raised.
Our lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interest under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — responding to unsolicited business enquiries. You can object to this processing at any time by replying to our message asking us to stop.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for marketing purposes. We may share information with:
- Our email provider (Namecheap Private Email), which stores and transmits messages sent to our inboxes. Namecheap operates under its own privacy policy and appropriate international data transfer safeguards.
- Any regulator, law enforcement body, or court that lawfully requires disclosure.
How long we keep your data
We retain email correspondence for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records (typically up to 6 years, consistent with UK statutory retention periods for business communications). We delete older correspondence on request, and regularly as part of good inbox hygiene.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies and no tracking technologies. We do not set analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or any other client-side tracking.
Your browser may receive standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, page requested, timestamp) as part of normal web traffic handled by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages). These are not used for profiling or marketing.
Search Console and search engine indexing
rhysora.com is registered with Google Search Console so we can monitor how our pages appear in Google search results. Search Console provides aggregated data about which search queries bring visitors to our site. This aggregated data does not identify individual visitors.
International data transfers
Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages (servers in the US, operated by GitHub, Inc.). Our email is hosted on Namecheap Private Email (UK-based infrastructure). When a visitor outside the UK contacts us, their data may traverse international networks. Both hosting providers operate under appropriate safeguards for international data transfers consistent with UK GDPR.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data (subject to our legal obligations)
- Restrict or object to our processing of your personal data
- Receive your personal data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis (not our usual basis)
To exercise any of these rights, email info@rhysora.com. We will respond within one month.
